Ol Fosse d’Outh – Vayamundo – is a hotel located in the heart of the Ardennes. In 2013, the management called on our services to carry out a technical and energy audit of the infrastructure as well as a special energy performance specification (CSC).

Indeed, certain problems were deplored by the hotel’s guests in terms of:

– Domestic hot water
– Heating
– Acoustic and energy insulation;
– The design of the buildings is said to be “old-fashioned”;
– Access to the swimming pool.

Our consultancy mission started at the end of 2013 for works planned from April 2014 with an initial budget of 12 million euros.

The bouwteam

We worked as advisors in special techniques for the client and the follow-up of the works. The bouwteam is defined by real teamwork, weekly meetings with the client and the project developers to optimise the installations and renovation work.

For example, we optimised the insulation by means of thermodynamic simulation, which resulted in a saving of 500.000 € (thanks to the simulation alone) for the hotel compared to the initial situation.
